 Post subject: daystar lift and cut bumper 265/75?

I have a daystar lift and i cut the front bumper on an 06 sport. I want to put 265/75s on my moabs.
Can i put 265s on without doing a clevis lift or will a clevis lift not even help get me 265s

If you want that size then put them on and start cutting :wink: , make darn sure you have bumpstops rear and front though as you will hit the flares when off road for sure with Moabs

How much are bumpstops. and are they simple to put on.

Is the clevis left worth the time and what can i do to the rear so the front isnt higher than the back

Add two rear isolators two each side.

You can get them at the Jeep dealership for $7.00 bucks a piece. Here's what they look like

That varies by dealer apparently. I checked here in Fort Worth, and they quoted me like $19 each for them.

Actually, I was wrong. I went back to look at my receipt and it shows that I paid $12.00 dollars for each. Part # 52088707AA

i would add 2 rear isolators each side... and do a clevis on the front... that is very cheap insurance.. then put on the 265's and trim as needed

well I still may end up doing the lifts but I think i decided to go with 265/70s cooper STT so the height will be the same as my 245s just be an inch or so wider
