I just went from a 225/75 to a 235/70 their still street tires (not getting my mudders until i get the lift) but i can't tell any change at all in gas mileage. I think even with a lift going from 235/70 to 245/75 you won't see that much of a change, though that will also depend on how aggressive your tread is on pavement. |

No change at all. I went from 225/75 to 245/75 and had a slight drop. Then I went down to 235/70 and I had a slight gain again |

235/70 is still a "stock" tire size from the factory.. |

In most brands, 235/70s are roughly 1/2" smaller in diameter than 225/75s - not enough to really notice, but depends how anal you are. But as was said, they are both sizes that are available from the factory, so you wont run in to any other problems. |
