Would be the same price as getting new Cragar wheels. Not worth it. Oh well!! Just an idea that popped into my head.
BTW, if anyone is interested in those wheels, PM me. Just get them outta my garage. Wasting valuable space.

So I got a set of these Cragar soft 8 wheels sitting around with a 5x5 bolt pattern. Tried to sell it a bazillion times, nobody wants it because it doesn't fit on a Wrangler or Cherokee. Got this idea today.....what if I drill the wheels to the correct wheel bolt pattern for the KJ (5x4.5) and plug the unused holes. Would that work?? Would it be safe and reliable for every day driving?? |

Get some wheel spacers 5x4.5 to 5x5, I would think that would be the way to go. Sounds safer to me any way. |

Yup, tried on almost all the Jeep forums. No luck. Probably worth more as scrap steel than a solid wheel with this bolt pattern!! Stupid Jeep!!

You can not drill a new bolt pattern in the rims,you would have to have them repressed to get the conical seats.
