Im about to pull the trigger on a set of Kumho Road Venture AT KL78 225/75/16 I have no lift and do most of the drive on-road, but i like to drive on the snow and offroad when posible. camp from time to time at the george washington national forest. Currently i have the stock tires and are just scary to drive when is wet out... would this tires be ok ? or i ll be disappointed? Thnks ! |

Can't comment on the Kuhmos, but we have been really happy with Dunlop Radial Rover ATs (standard load) in this size on several vehicles (superb in wet, low price, rare treadwear waranty, long life) DOC |

Tommudd put many miles on a set of KL78's. He is older than dirt and has lots of driving experience. He was very happy with those tires. Here's a link to comparison shop. Don't forget to figure shipping, if applicable. http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch ... toview=sku |

I ran the 255-70s KL78s and they did a great job all around, nice ride, quiet, off roaded them some , they are not a real mud tire but did well enough, snow/ice was good, had over 1/2 tread left on them when I sold them and about 24000/25000 miles I think ( will have to check my book) Just went to a bigger tire or I would of kept them for a while longer |
