Im putting a 2inch lift on my 2005 liberty. I have stock 16 inch rims. Someone has 265/70/17 General Grabber AT2 mounted on grand cherokee limited 17" rims. How bad would it rub or would it not work at all?

"IF" the bolt patterns are the same, how bad would they rub with the lift? From the tire size caculator online it was 265/70/17 which is 31.6inches. Im running 245/75/16 now at 30.5inches?

Thanks again

Moved to the Tire/Wheel section...

IF the Bolt Pattern and Back Spacing are is correct... It is the same size as a 265/75/16, which is the largest size you can really run. Even on a frankenlift I had rubbing and major trimming required to run. On a Rusty's lift....

I plan on pounding the pinch welds and a bumper trim, just wanted to do everything at one time.

Hate to tell you but with the Rustys I would say no. Having installed a couple of these I know how they settle, If you do it install at least 3 or so conduit nuts for a clevis lift and that may not do it.

No problem. I just wanted to know. Guy was going to give me a good deal if it would work. Ill try and stay with my current 245/75/16.

I know that the one Rustys I did he lives close by and I do work on it quite a bit, he has had rubbing issues with the 245-75s so I know that no way could he do the 265-75s without a ton more work, i.e. more lift, more cutting
