I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a website for where I could buy a Spare Tire Extender for my '02 Liberty Sport. I'm currently sitting on LT265/75R16's and cannot fit my spare on the back anymore. |

Caveat: I have not tried this. I believe any of the spare tire extenders made for a TJ ought to work, since they bolt in on top of the existing mount and add space. 4 Wheel Drive Hardware has one listed: Warrior Spare Tire Spacer, part # 91625 |

JMSMN, So far as I can see, that's just like a TJ spacer. But that's a good price on that! |

does turning the carrier upside down not create enough space or is that for a different issue altogether? |

Upside down = more clearance for hitch Upside down = IMHO better looking liberty Upside down = even with washers my rubber hit the glass Right side up with said washers = my rubber clear's by about 1 mil. Warshers were galvanized and came in a pack of 20 they were not all the same thickness, I spent 2.45 at home depot. 2.45 is significantly < than 39 bucks and shipping but it does look nice. I don't think the washers are ugly or anything. My rig gets used. I think i'll keep the washers. |
