Thanks, I thought I remembered you mentioning that the 265/75 was better off on a 7" instead of 8" when aired down, but when checking the suggested rim width for 265/75 BFG TA/KO they list 8"

Ok, so rim width I am good, but sucks that I would be adding about 15lbs a wheel if I went up in size, removed the spacers, and threw a set of steel on. I guess I'll be looking into a set of procomp alloys with 4-4.5" BS so I can ditch the spider trax.

I want to increase my wheel size from 245/75/R16's to either 265/70 or 265/75/R16's, but I also want to get rid of some wheel weight at the same time in order to even out with what I have now. I am currently running the stock 02 Renegade rims (6 spoke alloy) with 1.25" spider trax spacers. I would really like to ditch the spacers and go to a steel rim with 4" to 4.5" BS, but I don't want to add any more weight to the wheels. Curious if anyone has weighed their rims in order to give me an idea of how much I can cut, or would increase the weight changing to the soft8's or simuliar. Also while I am at it, I want to confirm that I can fit the 265/75's on a 7" rim with out issue.

You can run a 265/75 on a 7" rim,I do and my 265's have stamped on them to mount on a 7" rim,better for offroading when airing down also.The OEM alloy rim is about 10lbs lighter then a 16x7 Soft 8 rim.

My 16x8 cragers with 5" BS were around 75lbs per wheel. Stock rims were 50lbs for me. The 16x7 steels weigh a bit less than what I had though.

Don't think so,when I bought my 16x8 simulated beadlock rims,which are heavier then the regular 16x8 steel rims,they came in at 38lbs each.Now 75lbs with the tire mounted is more like it.Heck the double internal beadlock,3 piece rims I want don't weigh 75lbs each.
