Just installed tires and OME HD Lift... Will require a little trimming of the inner fender (I may start cutting the stock bumper, as I am getting impatient on my search for bumper alternatives) I mashed the pinch weld prior to mounting. Tires are highest of quality, and yes they are re-treads. If you research how tires are made, you wouldn't hate the retread. I opted for the Ultra Grip (walnut shell in tread compound) since I foresee snow/ice in the mountains of Africa...Photos of the process http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3338411/ |

Tires are fantastic, slight tire whine on deceleration(can't hear it over my obnoxious exhaust when cruising). The Ultra-Grip works as advertised, of course I haven't got to test them in snow/ice yet. Will require some trimming of the fenderwell liner on the front...taking care of that today and will post pics |

I have two of these on a 4x2 Dodge Ram. They are a little louder than ATs, but not as loud as I expected. I have about 1,000 miles on mine and they have performed very well. It will be interesting to see how they are this winter. |
