So after a few months of debating over different types of tires, I finally settled on the revo's. My '05 Renegade came from the factory with 225/75/16 Wrangler ST's-I'm sure you're all familiar with these wonderful tires  - that would spin on dry ground. As much as I liked being able to do a 4 wheel burnout in 4Lo (with about a millimeter of snow), safety is numero uno.

I came home from the Duke game today to find that my parents had the revo's installed while I was gone-what a surprise! I must admit that my first drive was a bit scary-the KJ felt a lot wider all of a sudden and seemed to be slower. After a few minutes, however, I got used to the new handling characteristics and loved the tires. The grip is thousands of times better on dry pavement and snow, and I love the feeling of being a bit higher (upgraded to 235/70/16). The tires look great-especially in comparison to the goodyears-and the wide stance gives the KJ more of a real suv feel (not a cute-ute as they say).

Pics soon 8)

Hey Auggie,

I put the same size Revo's on my '02 sport back in October. Haven't tried them offroad yet, but they are worlds better in snow than the OEM badyears. I know you'll like them as much as I do.

Matt

Had the same size installed on my KJ about a month ago. I still to this day find myself looking at them pretty much everytime I get out of the Jeep and thinkin "darn i love those things!"......is that a good thing???
