what thickness of wheel spacers would you guys recommend to be used with renegade wheels, as far as i can see i think 1" is about as thick as i would want to go, thanks

Spidertrax is 1.25 would go that size, also why do you need them?

i've got 245 75 MT/Rs on my renegade wheels, and at full lock they rub on the sway bar, and i like the wider stance too... 8) you wouldn't happen to know the back space on rene wheels off the top of your head would you, I could google it but i'd rather get a direct answer from you. You seem to know the most out of everyone on here, thanks

Problem with spacers is when you install them it will then rub other places like on the flare, bottom of the bumper, most everyone just knows it rubs the sway bar when fully turned and lives with it.
One of those things where doing one simple thing makes more problems. Some run them some don't

my lift is pretty fresh so it hasn't settled yet, and i trimmed my bumper and pounded the pinch weld, i'm pretty confident that with the height i have right now that 1 1/4 inch spacers wouldn't rub, but i'm sure you've heard that a thousand times, and then they come on the next day and say that they rubbed ] :wink: but we'll see..... i found a set on craigslist for cheap so we'll see what happens. thanks tom

If I run 245/70/16 with no lift and install spacers, will I end up rubbing? I was thinking of adding them just to have a wider stance.

more than likely you may have, 245-70s are a good fit with the stock wheels/stock suspension, but moving the wheels out will move the arc that the tires travel in and could contact the flare

Ok I have the Renny Wheels. I don't want to go to spacers and I've been putting together a list of stuff to get when the lift comes. Will Cragar's rim's slove this issue?

Yes they will. They are actualy the better choice bc with the spacers you would have to check 40 lug nuts every so often to make sure none are loose.

On the topic of spacers!! What would they be like in winter?
6 Months of the year is winter here & the amount of salt they use on the roads here is crazy. On that note I have a seperate set of black steelies & studds for winter.

all stock wheels are the same backspacing no matter if Sport/ Renegade or whatever edition you have

You would still need to check the spacer often, I dont kno what kind of metal is used to make them but you might have to watch for corotion and like I said earlyer check ur lugs to make sure they are tight
