You can try and flip the spare holder upside down since it is angled. That should give you more clearance I think.

the 32's wouldn't let me open the rear glass, the 31" firestone mt's just made contact with the glass.

$40 for a bracket ? go to the hardware store and get a handful of think washers. < $5.

I had ordered a spare tire extender from Warrior

it came like this.. so it got sent back.. and i ended up not needing it anyway

as you can see, one of the welded on "studs" (bolts) is crooked as ****

but other than that it was going to work really well

i think im going to just make a spacer a nice thick washers behind the tire rack and then a few behind the tire should do the trick without cosing any problem it just bairly hits the tire

I want to buy or fabricate my own extender that puts my tire out about 3in and then have it angled, but the only ones that are usually angled are on bumper carriers but I don't feel like spending a grand or more on one.

If you've got any fab skills it shouldn't be hard, it's not like it's a complicated piece of engineering. I on the other hand am fairly incapable of most fab work... no skills, no workspace, no tools, not clear on the concept, etc.

I put some spacers on my stock studs, about 3/4". Just enough to really get enough threads into the bolt. worked fine with my old 265-75's but the new ones are bigger even though they are also 265-75.

flipping my carrier also made it worse...

I guess I may have to drop 40 bucks on an extender
