Does anyone have these tires? If so, how do you like them?

Thanks........

now that's funny
cause i was just posting that
http://lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=46061

Only a 100 miles or so on them and I can say they are much quieter than my BFG's were
I hear nothing but good things about these tires
I say go and get them
I have a daystar lift and went with 255.70.16's with no issues what so ever

as a side note (search )   newbies

GF/Wife just got them on her Chevy Tracker(04). I definitely like them. She claims they are the best tires she has ever had. I'm not sure I would go so far as to say that, but the Tracker sure drives nice with them on.

I will be looking to get new tires just before the snow starts to hit in late November. They are on the short list.

I have Cooper tires on my wife's car and they are great! My next set of skins for my KJ will, most likely, be Cooper ATRs or S/Ts. I also like that most of their tires are made in the USA.

I had the ATRs in a 245/70. I personally would never buy them again. They were shot after about 15K miles. They do ride and have good traction when new, but just didn't last long enough for me. My $.02.

I was looking at these 3 (waiting for my personal finances to alleviate in September or October)

http://dynaproatm.hankooktire.com/ An XL rated tire.
http://www.herculestire.com/catalogHerc ... -part1.pdf
http://www.nokiantires.com/tyre?id=1195 ... iiva+A%2FT

The Hercules and Nokian are made by Cooper to their specs. For whatever it's worth Vatiiva owners rave about them and wont buy anything else.

I'll let the professionals explain it. What do I know? I just read a lot! :)
Basically an XL rated tire can handle greater load than a P rated equivalent if you put more air into it. It is in between a P rated tire and a C rated LT tire.

I own them and they are very good, the only other tire I can compare them to are the stock 'good'years, so maybe my opinion means nothing, lol.. Ive had them for about 20k miles and going strong, great in the snow and the rain. I usually don't go to chain stores but I got them from Mavis, I got the extra warranty so when I hit a huge pothole and the tire couldnt be fixed, they gave me a new one for $40 including tax, balancing, and warranty for the new tire, so I can't complain too much.
