Eh.. kinda decided I might not wanna do the W mod.. even though I've got most of the stuff to do it.. I just can't find that darn Reddish Black I liked for the bottom of the Jeep.. it was a metallic red/black like mixed together kinda like the uh Scion TC Crimson Mica color..

I'm telling you to just go to your napa in town that mixes paint and play in their books. The one we have out here is really good at matching.........

Or if you can find the color you want , (on anything) take it in and they can match it almost exactly. I bought one girlfriend a new Harley in pearl white, HD didn't have the paint available yet so took the stock fender into my local shop, they used some sort of analyzer on it and mixed the color perfect! Repainted the tank and the custom fenders and the HD dealer went nuts trying to fiqure out how I matched the pearl white

What did you do to prep the wheel before you painted it?

should've sanded them, especially if you encounter salt in the winter.

I'm sure they will look great for a year or so, but try not to go through any really sandy mud or rocks.

When I had my explorer, i cleaned the crap outta my wheels and did basically the same thing you did, and after about a year and a half and a dozen off road trips, you could see the original factory wheel paint everywhere.

luckily, spray paint touches up easy.

they do look mighty sexy though! 8)
