| Post subject: | Tyre wear |
Just doing the tyre 5 rotation & wheel alignment the other day (I do it every 5000 Km) & noticed that the front left is feathering/wearing abnormally compared to the other tyres. I mentioned this to the tyre guy where I bought them & he said he has another Jeep customer & his is the same. This was also the case with the stock rubber & wheels. Who else has noticed the outer edge of the front left tyre wearing unevenly? or is it on the front right on your side of the road? Could be a road camber thing. |

I don't see it so much on the tires, but the right front brakes take a beating from the roads here. And all the supporting elements on that side. Some of our potholes qualify as craters. I'd be a little concerned about your settings/alignment for that side if you're getting feathering... I would think that the road makes that much difference - but I could be wrong about that. |
