I want to Swap to a Set of Pro Comp Series 97 wheels but want to know what size I need exactly width and back space wise? I'm also interested if some 16x8 Wheels with 4.5" of back Space will work as I have a line on a set of really nice Pro-Comp Alloy's...

My end result will likely be running 31x10.5 15s but hey if 33x10.5s would work..... Bigger is better what kind of rubbing am I looking forward to at either size? I'm putting together a Lift now OME Springs, Rancho 9000xl's (In my basement), Extra rear spring ISO's, JBA upper arms (The hardest part for me to acquire.)

I'm open to some opinions lets hear them.

15x7 with 4-4.5 of BS in the Steelies will work fine. Don't think you can get 33's to fit. I am running 32x11.50 on 15x7x4" BS with a Daystar Lift plus 3 ring clevis plus 3/8 top plate.

first forget even trying or dreaming about 33s
best wheel size is 16 or 15 X 7 inches wide, less problems in the long run, 4 inch backspacing works well also
if 8 inch wide, then 5 inch backspacing works since that is the same as the Moabs.
with not many problems a 30/31 inch tire works good, not much to bolt them on, will not lose as much power or mileage

So then 16x8 with 4.5" of BS isn't going to work? What issues am I looking at with 4.5" BS? (if I where to run 16 inch wheels it would be with 235/85/16's)

so with 235-85s you want 7 inch wheels , 8's would be too wide for those.
