So, I want to start a regular rotation on my ATs and don't know what pattern the shop used for the first time the rotated them. I have a set of 4 (spare is different) and want to know what pattern you folks use. Most of my driving is done in full-time 4wd if that makes a difference in your recommendations.

I cross,LF to RR and RF to LR.Then at the next oil change(3000 miles) I do a basic front to back with the tires staying in the same side, then at the next oil change they get crossed again and so on.This way all 4 tires see time at a different corner.I also have rather aggressive MT tires that cost $280 each so they get rotated often(every 3000 miles). I do not do a 5 tire rotation as I do not have a full time 4wd option and have selectable lockers F/R so no worries about any tire being a bit off, plus it keeps buying a 5th tire when the 4 on the road wearout.

Rears go forward, fronts cross to rears. When I had stock tires, I threw in the spare for a 5 tire rotation. That didn't last long since the Wranglers had to go.

I just used this pattern today. I meant to do it the other way around but I accidentally jacked up and removed the wheel on the wrong side (and I was getting tired) and figured it didn't matter which was getting crossed as long as I keep doing it that way. :)

I just have one jack so I start on the driver's rear. Take that one off and put on the spare. Take that tire and put it on the DF. Take the old DF and put it on the PR and so on.

Found a good link on tirerack: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?techid=43 that includes a 5-tire pattern for anyone that's interested. I might go to that one if I get a larger size since I do use full-time quite a bit and don't want to get stuck somewhere and have an awful driving vehicle just because the diameter is a little different on the spare.

I used to do 5 tire when I was with the stock Badyears. I still would if I had another Grabber to throw in the mix.
