If you have a lmited slip or a locker in the rear, don't run two different tires on the rear. |

The treadwrights have a rep. for wearing well, probably better than the originals. I think if you rotated regularly you'd be fine, though. It seems to be important for MT/R's. There is a some difference in the O.D. of all tires of a given size, even those of the same brand/type. If you could know the actual roll-out of each tire you might find out that the Goodyear fits in with the treadwrights just fine. It would mean having all 4 tires and measuring their roll-out, though. But outside of race cars where this is very important, who actually does this? Some folks worry about stuff without ever considering that the specs on their tires may be just as off as any possible difference you might see, and they never thunk of it. They are also assuming you will see a difference, which is in no way a surety. No responder knows IF there even is a difference. But folks read the "conventional wisdom" stock answers over & over & parrot them back when they think they apply. I'd bet no one here measured out their current tires prior to having them installed. I'd also bet they did not even measure the true O.D. of each tire before buying it. They may have a greater variance in true size then what they are "warning" you about. Is the $$$ saved worth the extra labor of rotating you should do to give you piece of mind? If not, maybe sell the MT/R & buy the 4th treadwright if it worries you. |

Treadwrights tend to be a little taller with the extra rubber on them so you will have quite a bit of difference between the two I would not do it |

im going to be replacing my stock tires soon and i was wondering if i can fit 245s on the kj with out any rubbing or hammering in the pinch weld. Right now i have 225s/75/16 rim. or would i just be safe with 235s |
