My front driver side wheel bearing is pretty much done, and I need to find a replacement, now I have a 2002 Liberty without ABS, and everywhere I go only has with ABS, so does anyone know where I can find what I need without going to the dealership, and dropping $500? Thanks

O'Reilly's, AutoZone, Napa and Advance Auto all had the wheel bearing without the ABS sensor. I bought one from O'Reilly's and one from Advance, both of them carry National Bearings. They were $206 ea.

Ok so I got my new hub, but as I was getting ready for the install, I jacked my driver side wheel up and spun it a bit, and didnt hear the noise from the hub instead I hear it from the middle, so I crawl back there and spin the drive shaft, and there it is, the sound of bearings in my drive shaft rattling around so I look closer and see the bearing sitting there all nice and shinny, and there's the problem. No boot covering my bearings on my front drive shaft so they are done, and I need to find out how I can get a new boot just for that part of the drive shaft without buying a whole new one! :banghead:

99% sure you can't get the boot only...and the damage has already been done to the shaft it won't be worth keep very long... :dead:

Any ideas where I can get a new front drive shaft for a reasonalble price? I went to the stealership to see if I could get just the boot, and ask how much the drive shaft was and unsurprisingly it was $600, so yeah F that! :?

RockAuto has them.

2002 JEEP LIBERTY SPORT Drive Shaft

You need the 19"

IIRC, it cost us less than a couple hundred to have a new CV put on the shaft at a local drive line shop.

BTW, the shaft can be R+R without touching anything else on the vehicle despite what the manuals say.
