Went to my local tire place to price some tires since I'm lifting the Jeep next week.

While waiting, a girl came in with a Commander that her dad had just put tires on... they were BFG AT 265/70 R17. She was wanting to get something more "quiet". The salesperson told her since it had been over a month, there wasn't much he could do as far as trade in (yeah, right, if it was someone who knew better they would have said something)... so... being the scholar and gentlemen I am, I approach said young girl with a obscene offer of $300 for all 5 tires, mind you, the spare hadn't seen the pavement yet. She bit. The salesmen was pissed because I know he wanted to score those tires. So... I got out of there with 4 almost new and 1 new BFG AT 265/70 R17s...

I bought a beer at Logans since I just saved about $700.
