I did a search and read about 15 pages in this forum and never really saw anything about 215/85/16s. I am thinking I would not need to regear or do much if any trimming on my wheelwells. Also don't think I would need wheel spacers. Anybody running this size on their kj? And with what size lift?

(The LOST search won't take a number - but Google will)

All the ones I have looked at are 30.4, same height as the 245/75/16 I have seen. I don't think they will work with out a lift but I could be wrong. Thanks for the link.

245-75-16 are 30.5

most of the folks running 215/85's are not lifted - but they are CRD's - the springs probably haven't sagged as much
and they're not off roaders (although a couple - tow trailers)

this is Stan's http://liberty.eurekaboy.com/215_85.htm

ATXKJ, I probably should have been a little clearer. I should have mentioned that I would be running some mountain trails as well as daily driving. I see where they do fit unlifted but I don't think that would work for me on the mountain. From that last link it looks like I would want a spacer, thanks

You can get by with a lot more sizes driving to the mall, but yes if you're going off road even back roads you want to have a little more room in the fenderwells.
