Is it possible to fit the 245/75-16 on my '02 without the lift being installed ?? Was needing tires but it's a one or the other situation right now as the the budget won't allow both the lift and new tires at the same time. Just need to know thw possible problems of running this size before I go with the OME spring lift. Thanks

Some have ran them a short time but not for long.
Not sure how many miles on yours but springs that are 9 years old now have to have sagged quite a bit making it all that much harder to fit them.
Could always go to the tire shop and try one on the left front and see ( left front is always a little lower so if it fits there you're good. )

Thanks Tomm....For some strange reason my '02 is still sitting riding fairly high on the stock springs (front 18.75 on both sides and rear is 19.50 both sides). I was looking at some mastercraft CT, goodyear duratracs, general grabber AT2. All of these seem to have a good tread pattern and run about the same in price ($180). Just didn't want to buy tires twice (before and after lift). The 235/70-16's aren't rubbing anywhere and seem to have enough clearance to fit the 245/75-16, but I wasn't sure how it would work under real world road conditions untill I can get it lifted.

I used to run 245/75R16 fhithout a lift. Not much scratching onroad, but a little bit tight offroad. But the standard 235/70R16 did also scratch the fender.

So the answer will be: Yes you can.
