I might have a chance to pick up a set of Liberty Rims with Wrangler SR-A tires on them. They're $170, so I'm thinking it would be worth it for the rims alone, but how are the tires in snow/ice? I'd be just using it as a winter tire, and a street tire and save the Trxus as a off road only tire on the Renny wheels. I think i recall hearing bad, but I didn't remember for sure. If the tires are bad, I'll just put the old Grabbers on the rims and use those for winter/street. Here's a pic of them

I figured that... Oh well, I need a second set of rims anyways, so we will see, I have almost new Grabber AT2's sitting in the garage to throw on them anyways |

SR-A's are horrible on everything but they do hold air, usually! SR-A's end up seeing a certain situation pretty often which is humorous washing your jeep in the front yard in the grass.. then realizing you're now stuck in the yard because the grass is wet, and using a riding lawnmower to tow yourself out because turfsaver tires and 400 lbs of lawn tractor have more traction than SR-A's in 4wd ok.. i admit it.. i put my friend in that situation on purpose because i knew what was going to happen, i did at least R&R his tires for him for repayment when he got new tires though more than likely you can sell the SR-A's on craigs or something, they sell pretty well for some reason |

My personal experience with the SR-A's was nothing but positive. The only time I had an issue with them was while it was raining, they would slip a little on intersection tape. Other than that, they lasted me over 52,000 miles and got me through rain shine, and several Upstate NY winters. That deal sounds pretty darn good. I'd jump on it! |
