but hey it's work a try, my buddy bought a pair of 1.25" spacers a while back that are the same bolt pattern as the 2008 liberty. He gave them to me... Here's the thing, i have a 16"x8" wheel with a 255/70 tire on it. the wheel is +12 which is i believe 4.97" of back spacing... i will have a new custom bumper soon which will provide much more room and i don't mind trimming ... what do you think i got to do to make em work, if it will work at all?

well you'd need more than a pair, unless you mean a pair of a pair :P

if your rims are 5" bs, that's .25 less than standard 5.25 kj oem's

i run 255-70s or 245-75's on the 5.25's with 1.25 spacers, pinch pounded

only place they rubbed was on the fog light hatches, which aren't there anymore due to my front bumper, thus they don't rub

I did have to add an extra puck in the rear to keep my tires off my rear flares however, the 245's would stuff with just the 2 pucks, the 255's would not so I put the 3rd puck back

it's tight behind the front tires when turning, but I don't think it's 0.25" tight, it's about 0.5-0.7" tight so, should work out for ya as long as you pound the pinch good

with the kk's being a little different on tolerances you may run into additional clearance issues in that area and ultimately it'll depend on how your lift + your offset matches up

i'd try them, if not simply for curiosity sake, mount everything without the loctite and test it in the driveway, if all is well, reassemble with the loctite

yeah i'll give that a go... i do have a pair of pairs... haha... i am lifted a little over 2.5" so i mean idk... i'll see how it works dont want to loctite anything til im sure... i have the impact gun so i'll tighten it good and try em out... if all is well i'll go for the loctite... i may have to wait til i get my new bumper before its a permanent thing

we don't use impact guns :P

torque it with a torque stick like usual as if it was a rim, then after you've tested it, remove it put the loctite on and torque it again, and don't forget to retorque it after a few hundred miles and every so often afterwards as if it was a rim

kinda sucks, it's like having two sets of rims

but yeah.. impact gun, not a swell idea, unless it's good and worn out and you know it's only putting about 90ft/lbs max
