15x8 with 4.75" BS.. will it rub like crazy? Is is a must to do the 15x7 with 4.25" BS instead? |

A lot depends on what tires you're running, size, tread pattern etc. More than likely could be some rubbing on the sway bar when fully turned Not many tires we run need an 8 inch wheel really |

OK, so I think I'm going to pick up some steelies to run as off-road only wheels so I don't keep scratching up my alloys. I'm going to be running 31x10.50-15 ATs on these wheels. My wheel choices are ProComps 15x7 with 4.5BS, or Black Rocks 15x7 with 4.25BS. I like that Black Rock wheel design better, but the 1/4" of extra backspacing on the ProComp might work a little better under my KJ. Thoughts?? |

correct me if I am wrong...but since the MOAB wheel from TJ is a popular KJ upgrade....and the TJ/XJ has the same bolt pattern....wont any 15" wheel from a TJ/XJ fit the KJ? eventually I want to run my 31 x 10.50 x 15 on the KJ... is there a BS issue I am overlooking on this? |

you will pry be alright with the width. your only issue is with the rim being 15". if the rim isnt backspaced correctly you will have contact between the rim and brake caliper. why not just do a 15x7 with 4" backspacing? a 7" wheel will fit any width tire that will fit under a liberty without major modification. |

OEM TJ/XJ wheels will not work unless they are 16 inch, 15s will not clear the caliper Only 15s that will are the Soft 8s |

I ended up going with Black Rock Lobos in the 15x7" with 4.25BS flavor. Will be running Firestone Desty ATs on them temporarily until I win the lottery and can afford Hankook DynaPro MTs. Pics will follow when they are on... |
