the tires will be stamped with a max load at xxpsi
most light truck or suv tires will go about 2000# at 40-50 psi
a liberty goes in the 4500# range so knowing that 2 tires could almost hold
the weight of the jeep
e range tires are used on 3/4 and 1 ton trucks because they hold in the 3500#+ range
people like to use them on their rigs when they play in the rocks because they have a very thick side wall
and they will hold a bead at 12-15 psi with out a bead lock rim
as for the "sloppy" feel i would check the tire pressure i would run 32-35 psi

Sometimes the big lugs on the M/T tires will give and squirm a little, depending on how soft or hard the rubber is. One of my friends commented on the same thing after switching from a set of practically bald A/Ts to new BFG M/Ts on his Frontier pickup.

This might sound backwards...but have you tried running the Revos at a LOWER pressure? I had load range C Revos and ran them at 33psi. I have nothing but good things to say about them.

yes I did. I even talked to the dealer and he tried to blame my lift and then the shocks. Then said he never had this complaint.I told him the lift has been on for atleast a year and I did not have this problem prior to the tire change.maybe I should have gone with MTRs

wish i knew. my dodge avenger had 215/50/17. i didn't like the goodyears at all so went with michelin xgt h4's but could only get 225/45/17. they rode sloppy as all hell too. hit a bump like going over a bridge and front end would sway left and right and had to hold the wheel tighter as is moved. never did find out what the problem was. then it was stolen and written off on the train tracks.

oh and the worst thing was truck grooves in the pavement, egads was like trying to drive in 4x4 ruts, car was all over the place. we blew 2 tires within a year and the new ones didn't help at all so wasn't a flaw in the tires.
