I bought 245x75x16 Duratracs on Cragar soft eights. 16x7, four inch backspacing. Stood one of them next to the 255x70x16 on the Jeep that has a spacer lift( bought the vehicle with it on) . The new Tire is at least two inches taller. Pinch welds pounded already. Looks tight in the wheel well. Going OME next month or maybe sooner because of this condition. Does anyone recall which shock is on national backorder? :dizzy:

245-75-16 is a taller tire than the 255-70
a 265-70 is about the same height as a 245-75
Marlin (JBA) had OMEs I think he stock now from what he said call him
as far as height I have seen KJs with spacer lift that had sagged back down to stock height. So although it does have a spacer lift doesn't mean it is sitting any higher :wink:

Looks like I have to pick up the pace on picking up cans along the road to pay for the lift from Marlin. :ROTFL:

properly a 255/70/16 should be about 30.1 a 245/75/16 30.5......

different........... but not 2 inches worth

Yes, I stood the tire/wheel next to the tire/wheel on the Jeep. I should have taken the wheel/tire off the jeep and stood them side by side on the garage floor. I panicked when I saw the difference.
