I am upgrading my bfg 235's with 245-75 this friday and wanted to know if they will rub on a stock setup if I am real carfull.I am installing a 2.5 lift on saturday and wanted the tires right away for when the lift is done but don't want to harm the tires in the mean while.I would only be driving on road and home and maybe to dinner that night and that is it.So if any one can help I would be thankful.

It's gonna rub when turning for sure before the lift. You will be fine without spacers after the lift.

I'd wait until the lift is on and then get em installed.

Will it rub on a full turn or during a normal turn? Hope that makes sense. And will 235/70/16 fit or will 245/70/16 fit? I need tires and the stock goodyears are crap.

245/70's will fit w/o a lift from what others have said, but 245/75's will NOT fit w/o a lift. They will rub all over the place including the pinch weld. If I were you, I would wait until after the lift to spend the money on the tires, and get 245/75's.

from personal experience My BFG 245/70R16's do not rub. Without a lift, these are my suggestion. However If you plan to lift, I would hold out till you are lifted and get the 75's. Other than that I personally love the tire.
