What's a good price for used BFG TA/KO tires in the monstrous 265/75R16 size?

I found a set of 4 that have 3/8" tread (new is 16/32") selling for $340. I'm deciding if I should buy them or wait and get new tires.

Also - the people I've seen with the 265/75R16 are either running with wheel spacers or with wheels that have a larger offset (or smaller backspacing). Is it possible to run without either? I know it will rub when turning, but I just want to make sure it doesn't rub when driving straight. Anyone know?

Not cheaper than used, though. I'm just debating if I want to buy used tires or just go with new.

as for used if they have decent tread left you should be ok,but you spend say$300 & maybe by next spring you need tires again & buy new say $1000 all together now your in the hole $1300 instead of just a$1000 that money could've gone towards something else I guess it has it's pro's & con's
