Hello

Well, our new 08 Liberty climbs better then our 02 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins.....

Yesterday I tried the Dodge on a fairly steep hill, it was froze pretty hard and a skiff of snow on it. The Dodge has an automatic and it wouldn't make it no matter what I tried. Although if I would have gotten a pretty hefty run at it, it might have made it.

Today I decided to try it with the Liberty and it cruised up it no problem at all. The first time I tried it, it spun out but I was going at a snails pace and was pretty much stopped on the hill. The second time I went at a nice steady speed and didn't screw around and it made it fine.

Still running the stock tires, the Yokohamas are on the way....

TC (Traction Control) works pretty well...

i agree with Darby, and the dodge has one less advantage...there's little weight in the back of the truck so it makes it really difficult for the rear tires to grab compared to the libby...liberties are porky and heavy for their size!Welcome to LOST :D

Yea my Libby does great in the snow. Its the prefect Colorado Vehicle! I much prefer to drive it than the Rubi. Heck even my wife who hates to drive in the snow made it up to Breckenridge on Saturday during a pretty heavy snow storm, and thats really saying something.

Yep the Libby is an impressive snow vehicle. I love the ESP.... I barely touch the 4x4 mode.
