Just got back from a 5000km road trip, from Southern British Columbia, Canada all the way to Yellowknife NWT canada, Did the trip with out any problems (unless you count speeding tickets as problems) To give you and Idea of how far north that is its about 200km south of the arctic circle.

Cool. The Ice Road Truckers show gives a pretty good glance of Yellowknife, but some pictures from the frozen tundra would be nice.

My message board co-member went to the Arctic Circle and all I got was this stupid sentence.

Ouch. That's pretty harsh.

I think Johnb was just commenting on the fact that you went to a really cool place (no pun intended) and just gave us a quick sentence or two, without pictures. It was a joke, as in "My parents went to Hawaii and all I got was this stupid T-shirt".

So I'll ask nicely: Greenjeepster, did you take any pictures while you were on your trip that you'd care to share with the rest of us, so we can experience some of the wonders of northern Canada? Arctic Circle or not, it'd still be interesting to see.

i apologize, I thought I was getting "flamed" as people do tend to do that sometimes. Either way it was a stupid comment. On a lighter note, I have lost the connection for camera to computer, so as soon as I get a card reader I will post some pics.

Wow . . . lighten up. It is a JEEP message board, and the poster was clearly asking that you share your experience with us through pictures. And as the previous poster said, this is a very common phrase.

Flamed?!?! A bit sensitive my friend.

Why do you post that you are going somewhere . . . then get upset when someone wants to see more about it. You are very conflicted.

how is it worthless?? i drove 5000km on some of the most rough and remote roads in the world and didn't have any problems, that was my point, if you want to see pictures of yellowknife, look it up.

This thread went south from the second post, so I'm locking it.

Greenjeepster, I'd love to see a write up and photos of your adventure in a new post.

Ed
