I started this thread because I think this will be good for knowing a little more about ourselves:

Age?
25 years young

What do you do?
Im a criminal/corporate lawyer. Im currently obtaining my masters degree.

How much did I pay for my libby?

(my dealer is paul young auto in case you wanted to know)

Additional info?
Well, im not married, ( have a GF though and been dating for almost 4 years now) Im happy with my life right now but some big changes are coming...Im considering going back to the states since things in mexico are a bit harsh right now, but I guess well see

Age?
42 years old --- still feelin' like I'm 30. Wife keeps me young :D :D :D

What do you do?
That depends ... I am one of those jack-of-all-trades-master-at-none. Currently, I'm an ER nurse. I have done everything from heavy equipment mechanic, repos , line installer, factory work making oem rims, up to my current job as a nurse. Wife gets most of the benefit from all this.

How much did I pay for my libby?
I paid 24K after trade, discounts/incentives, and negotiations for my Black Sport with tow pkg, skid plates (didn't come from factory that way so dealer bought parts and installed), and sunroof.

Additional info?
Just itching to go mildly 4-wheelin' :D. I am new to the 4x4 scene (1st one actually) and wife is sooooooo afraid of damaging this daily driver in the field. Wanting to take her to one of the jeepskools so she can learn it is not that bad. Just waiting for it to fit into our schedule.

What do you do?
I'm a "Sr. Technology Specialist" for a telecommunications company, and a weekend warrior (South Dakota Army National Guard - Intelligence Analyst).

How much did I pay for my libby?
Sigh. Too much unfortunately. It was around 24k, sport, command-trac II, and just the regular schtuffs. It was kind of a last second needed a vehicle right now because the grand cherokee crapped out on me.

Additional info?
Well I recently moved to South Dakota, and there's not a lot of trails out here in east river. Unfortunately, I'm leaving this January for some training, getting back in June, getting hitched fall '09, and deploying to Afghanistan January '10. Basically means I don't have a whole lot of time to play with my Jeep until I get back.

What do you do?
Warehouse manager for wholesale automotive parts... 8)

How much did I pay for my libby?
$25,625 MSRP, minus full employee discount (brother in laws mom works for Chrysler), minus trade, minus money down... I financed just under $18,000

Additional info?
Future plans (next spring probably) for the Liberty: Wheels & Tires, inexpensive 1" lift, hitch, front bumper guard and/or lights, and a few trips to Badlands or Cliffs.
My main car passion is my 1969 Cutlass...

What do you do?
I'm a Protection and Control Engineer (trainee) for the utility company. I just graduated from university with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.

How much did I pay?
I'm actually leasing the Jeep for two years. It seemed like the best option at the time. I really like it, despite the teething problems I've had with it, so I'll likely buy it out at the end of the lease. The lease payments are based on about $32,000 (Canadian), for the North Edition I have. I also put Mopar skid pates on it, as well as a front tow hook and after-market trailer hitch.

Additional info?
I was really impressed with the stock Jeep's capability offroad. I got caught up in a rut because of the bad way I approached a tight turn, but the front tow hook and a Cherokee in front sorted me out. The choice of black for body colour was probably not the best for hiding pin stripes from twigs and such offroad, but at least it shows I've given the offroad scene a try. All in all, I love it.

How Much Did I Pay?: Financed roughly 16k after trade-in and making the dealer own up to a deal that almost got me messed over, and Jeep-less.
Jeep Libby: Hesitated posting my build sheet but it's an '08 Black Sport (2WD) with Popular Options Group, Towing Package, Sun Roof, Premium Sound System (not the infinity though... - no sub), and a sunroof.
What I do: Audio Engineer/Production Manager

How much did I pay?
About $25k - I bought one of the very first sold here - October 13, 2008

Additional info?
This is my first Jeep and I really do love it. Just wish Chrysler would still sell it here with a diesel!
I've lived in Colorado for about a year now - originally from Iowa. I just recently traveled to Mexico - and I *loved* it!
