i Bought http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... &viewitem= 10,000K and love it. I took off the front grill to allow me more working room and to make things look very neat and it took like 1.5 - 2 Hours. Not bad at all. Only issue i have is a slight hum noise on high beam but just having the radio on low cancels out the noise. But with these you hardly need high beams lol

Its not as Blue as i thought but 6,000K would project farther and be whiter. The cops havnt looked twice at me up here in my little town where there is no crime and where the cops have nothing better to do than get cats outta trees lol. But as for projection the 6,000K would go farther but mine still go ridiculousy far anyway. Did i mention i love them?

H13 is your bulb size

I have 6K HID... they are bright! One of these days I will aim my lights lower

Haha ya if you get a lift adjust the lights down a couple inches, people get kinda mad with bright lights on the back of their necks. Or you could look at it as encouragement to get outta the way 8)

If you want High beams, you need a Bi-xenon Kit. You are also correct about the fogs.

The H13 bulb is a High/Low combo bulb.......

The link Elt showed me is 8000k, do you think the 10,000k price difference would really be worth it? I am also installing dome LED lights once they come in the mail do I just pop the dome off from the front? :?:

fyi the lower the temp the better light output. anything over 6k is gonna annoy other drivers, more so then its going to already with the HIDs, and maybe even your own eyes.

I'd stick with a 5K or 6K if you want white. Normal head lights are 4300K......
8K is going to be blue and 10K and 12K will be bluish purple

okay for best output 5600k is the best then for white light 6000k is the best (the last two options will give you the least problems with cops)... 8000k gives you a bluish light that you see on alot of modded cars, 10000k is a very blue light that will sometimes get you in trouble this is also on some heavily modded Japanese vehicles(common enough and noticeable enough to get you in trouble since HID are illegal). 12000k is a violet color and more of an exotic import thing or just very ricer-ish IMO

My 10,000K really arnt nearly as blue as i thought they would be and as long as you level down the lights if you have a lift they wont bother people your driving behind because it will shine below their trunk. But for MK i think ill try the 6,000K to see how i like those

Elt - did you do a write-up on your HIDs from this seller?

Any issues?

I seem to remember there being a few (maybe quite a few) issues with the HIDGate buyers needing extra relays?

How was the install?

Sorry if this has all been answered before - a writeup on this HID system would be great - also pictures, I never saw pictures!

Thanks alot.
