Hauled my kayak on home made crossbars to 'real' lake for the first,Thursday.Need to improve on this. Friday got radiator skid, but not the hardware,so not installed yet. Saturday installed gas tank skid, and sprayed radiator skid with truck bed coating.

72" Sirio P5000 for the scanner, 37" Cobra for the CB. With little experience to go on, I would say that the 510 is good enough for trail rides. But nothing more. I chose it for it's small size and price.

Did my first towing with the KK. It went pretty well... much better than my TJ. With the TJ the weight of the trailer always was pretty obvious both in power and handling. With the KK I could barely tell. It is definitely a lot more stable. I drove about 130 miles and got just under 18 mpg. :D

Thankfully it was an almost did! Coming home on the expressway a service van forced me of the road. I hit the brakes and went into the rumble strips , the sound made him move back into the right lane. I got back on the gas to keep from being rear ended. Finally found the horn and blasted him, got up beside him and shook my finger at him(no not middle). He mouthed he knew what he did and that he was sorry. Ive had my KK for just a year and it was the first time I felt uncomfortable and small in it and wished I was in my V10.

Pulled a chevy colorado out of some deep sand, up hill, both ways of course  he said his buddy in a silverado couldn't get him but I said we can take a shot anyway. He was dragging pumpkin the whole way to some more solid ground cause there are some deep ruts out here. offered to follow him to the highway but he said as long as he's got some momentum hs good, hopefully he made it out of the wilderness alright
