I am feeling more and more screw#d that I bought a Liberty everyday. I have owned numerous jeeps in the last 30 years, and I used to take the LIbby off-road. But now I worry everytime because of that junk D30a. Takes the fun out of it. I never cared for SFA D30's, and swapped D44's under my Commando to get rid of one. But doing that to a Liberty is so cost/time prohabitive as to render the only reason to do so as "hey, I have a SFA Liberty." For that time/money, I am sure I could kill the SFA Libby on the trail with something easier/cheaper to build.

As the KK is heavier, and will eventually have more horsepower, I still wonder if the "new" D30a will net any better results then the junk that we have because of those to factors. I have always staunchly defended the Liberty, but I wonder if the naysayers are correct. It is a decent all-weather DD, but as a Jeep? Sigh.

Buy A JK. I am sure you will worry less in the long run.
