I have not pulled them out again since I wired the KC lights. There is a very obvious black seal between the clear lens and main housing. I'm assuming it's a gasket, hopefully rubber so it's reusable. There are also tabs that appear to hold both units together. So again I'm assuming... you won't have to heat it to loosen the glue, then heat it again to reseal them.

Depending how work on the Cutlass goes tonight and tomorrow, I might pull the KK light housings out and see how they are assembled.
