Is the only difference in the Stage 2 to Stage 3 is that the side step is angled up?

We will be waiting to see how these sliders sell for both Libertys before we consider putting time into making production ready bumpers available.

I just want to know why doesn't any buddy come up with a rock rail that goes from wheel well to wheel well. Everyone seems to stop at that plastic bump. I just want to cut that low hanging thing off to fit in a longer rock rail or even take the whole think off and replace it with a nice clean rock rail, but that options is much more work.

Hmmm... I never noticed that before. Interesting observation, but not having a dedicated trail KK I never really paid attention. But I think you may have answered your own question. I think most people want a bolt on and forget it mod. There are some on the forum here though who wouldn't mind the extra work of customizing. Makes sense to me to have wheel to wheel coverage though if that's what the Jeep gets used for. Heck, I wouldn't mind the type 2 prototype for my KK from JCR if they still had them. Great step for my youngins and solid extra protection. I'll be heading up kinda that way (East Detroit) on Friday. Kalamazoo is not too far from there. Hmmm... Happy :JEEPIN:

I looked into it when I was doing mine, and it would've been much more involved and I wanted to focus on my front bumper design. Also, I agree with das and think most people want just a simple bolt-on mod for rock rails so that is where I started.

Could those be KJ sliders? KJ sliders are usually longer than KK.

Notice the length of the mat.. (I'm assuming it's the same mat)
These are KK sliders (from JCR's website)

Yeah, I'm thinking there was some kind of mix up, although "KK" is marked on the side of the slider. these are about 5" longer than they need to be. Wouldn't be such a bad thing if they weren't so heavy... UPS is gonna hate me!

Oh boy, those are definitely KJ sliders!

Those are not KJ sliders. Eric cut the length of the slider incorrectly. We sent a pickup for those sliders and will be getting the correct ones to him asap. :D We haven't made a set of KK sliders since we prototyped them, so it was an honest mistake.

The easy solution would be for more KK owners to buy sliders from us!

I've still have my JCR window sticker on the rear hatch. I always get questions about my sliders from the techs down at my local dealer. Someone is always stepping on them to see how sturdy they are or looking to see how they are mounted. They are holding up very well guys. Thanks again to JCR for a great set of sliders and excellent service. Happy :JEEPIN:
