Anything we can do to make the front wheels "drag" less? Also, do you have a Hypertech, Ted?

No,and if everything is operating correctly creates very little drag.I removed my front diff, both CV's,and front driveshaft and gained zero mpg's after exploding a outer CV joint on the trail before doing the SFA swap.

No but it's on the list. Still saving for the gears and lockers. :frankie:

No difference? Hmmm, how long did you run it like that?

Do you have any mods yet that might change your mileage? Keep in mind the ever popular bigger tires are a sure way to DECREASE your mileage. Same thing goes for roof racks and anything else that would increase drag or add weight to the vehicle.

I'm pretty proud of my gas mileage. Had my Libby for a year now. Spring, Summer, and Fall I constantly get 20 or more m.p.g. CITY and about 22 or more highway. Those number decrease about 2 mpg during the colder months.

Proper gearing etc and what you say decreases mileage will not
With roof rack , steel bumpers, 32 inch tires etc with 4.10s I can pull down 21.5 -22 on the highway easy
Short trips is the worst for mileage since the vehicle never has a chance to get up to operating temps

Proper gearing will help a lot, but I doubt you're increasing gas mileage with more weight and being less aerodynamic.

Try me, I'll match your hypermiling any day

Tommudd, let's go! 8) Started hypermiling because my old vehicle had no gas gauge so I was forced to learn how to drive economically even with the v8 in it.

I was stock for about two months, first came the CAI, Hypertech, and then exhaust. Since then I've installed a few other goodies.

As you probably know, the Hypertech will be fully able to work with different gears with the touch of a button and I can't imagine how great it would work with better one. 4.10's?
