That'd actually look pretty sick on a black KK. The textured paint is matte so I think it'd look awesome. I put duratracs on 4" offset pro comp steelies. I have a crappy RK lift. I'm installing an OME spring lift soon as the weather gets warm.

Doing the extras for the 3.5" lift or sticking to shocks and springs? With the extras you'll sit an inch or a little over an inch higher than you are now

Just gonna probably stick with shocks and springs. Has anyone attempted to stick a spring lift onto a spacer lift? I figure you technically could stick HD OME springs/shocks/struts onto a spacer lift but I would probably guess you'd run into some serious problems with the lifted height. RK lift includes extended front forks and rear spacers. Supposed to lift about 3.5" (which sinks down a bit too obviously) With an OME lift you'd get about another 2.5-3.5" (depending on iso's and a clevis lift) which would theoretically put your total lifted height to 5"-6" which would require a lot of work just so your suspension wouldn't destroy other parts (or at least thats what I would assume)

If you used the rustoleum bedliner, the easiest way to keep it looking nice is to clean it real good and shoot it with some tire shine/cleaner. I have had the Rusoleum bedliner on my bumpers, grill, steps, and wheels on my truck for about 3 years. I have had to sand down spots on the front bumper occasionally because of rock chips, and repaint it. But you don't have to repaint the whole bumper, just the area, bedliner blends in real easy.

Thanks Cherox! (And everybody else too :D )
If you did ever decide to bedliner your fender flares or grill or anything I think it'd look sick. The normal black paint is hi gloss whereas the bedliner is a matte texted paint so it would make a really cool contrast between the two. Just my opinion tho lol

I agree. My KK is black and I have the gas door, wheels, and grille dipped, and the contrast looks pretty cool.

So far so good. Hasn't chipped at all. It's been about a year and one hell of a rough winter lol. I cannot say the same for my rock sliders. Bedliner definitely stuck to the plastic fenders like glue. I have had to touch up the grill a bit, then again, New England is known for its sandy roads. No major chipping on the grill besides just big rocks from 18 wheelers. Bedlined fenders definitely hold up well and give the KK that "rugged" offroad look. I'm definitely glad I did it.

Your Jeep looks dope, Mawlkrawler. Nice job!

I just bought a replacement front bumper cover for my black KK because mine was cracked, so I was thinking about having it bedlined along with the rear bumper and the fender flares. Does anyone have any photos of a black KK with bedliner? I couldn't find any to see how it would look. Thanks!
