Last weekend did quick 630 mile road trip with my dad to visit some family. The JBA 4" AaS lift rode nice...although still have a few small noises in certain situation I'm trying to track down.

Love being able to drive my KK every day again

Did the 60k mile maintenance, excluding the Transmission Fluid. The cap says "For Dealer Use Only." Does anyone else have this?? I think I might just take it in to the dealership so I don't mess anything up.

Also put in a new locking gas cap since I had the "gascap" message flash a few times over the past couple weeks.

Next up, Flowmaster 44 install... got the pipe/clamps all ready just have to find a nice day to go at it.

so i get into my jeep at school after my last class. i unlock the jeep and the interior lits are supposed to go on, they didnt, i opened the door, they didnt go on either, i turned on the car, thankfully it started, the wipers started at a constant speed, they were set to off, the dash wouldnt light up, the needles for the rpm's and the fuel tank wouldnt move, they were set to zero and empty, the engine temp was all the the way cold, the head lights wouldnt turn off, and the fogs wouldnt turn on, the jeep woildnt shift out of park, and the gear shift wouldnt light up, but that was a ongoing problem.......... I FREAKEDDDDDD OUTTTTTTTTT!!!!! i was stuck in my college parking lot with a jeep that had a mind of its own. i turned it on and off several times, NOTHING. turns out all i had to do was disconnect the negative terminal for 2 mins and everything started working again.... weird right?! only in a f***ing jeep....

Cherrie, I just picked up another "J" kayak carrier for the roof. I'm 5'10" and its a little bit of a stretch for me to get the boats up on the roof let alone tie them down :banghead: so I use a box to stand on. I throw that in the back with the paddles and jackets. Fortunately, if its just me taking a boat out, I flip the front passenger seat down and carry it inside the Jeep. Happy :JEEPIN: and paddling.

I just posted this on another thread, but figured this is where it should go.

Did NOT install rock krawler...I was strongly advised against it, saving up dough for a proper lift.
DID install:245/75r16 Falken Rocky Mountains, 16x8 Cragar Soft8's, Tinted a sun strip across windshield, VHT nightshade on T/Lamps & Cyclops, Vent guards(re-taping rears), figured out DDM HID's for H/Lamp, also have the fogs installed; 35W5k's, getting ready to take off snowboard rack.

I've been growing tired, absolutely tired of the non-palm friendly shift knob for MONTHS now, so I got rid of the POS and installed this new shift knob from a 2011 Durango. :)

Also, washed it today.

This past Saturday morning, dropped the rear axle down on my JBA 4" AaS lift so I could replace the OEM upper bump stops I forgot to have on hand when the JBA 4" got installed:
Image
Image

As you can see below, the OEM bump stop had gotten pretty chewed up on the hex head of the bolt for the JBA 2" lift lower bump stop. For anyone installing a lower bump stop on the rear axle that has the bolt head exposed, I'd recommend using a Round Button Head (e.g. allen key) Bolt so hopefully the bolt head won't chew up the bottom of the OEM upper bump stop like it did on my old JBA 2" lift.
Image
Don't have to worry about the OEM upper bump stop getting chewed up on a lower bump stop for the JBA 4" lift since it uses a kinda volcano shaped lower bump stop so there is no way the upper bump stop could contact the lower bump stop's bolt head.

Got the transmission fluid changed and installed Flowmaster 44 that's been sitting in my garage for weeks... Wow what a difference in sound that makes.
