What have you done to your KK lately

Yeah, I removed the air filter intake hose at both ends, and then just went ahead and cleaned the throttle body while it was open. It wasn't that dirty, but what the heck

. I did have a little trouble getting one of the old plugs to break loose, but I'm just glad it came out in one piece :shock:

I agree, the NGK's weren't that bad even though the tips were somewhat worn. But she sure does run smoother with a new set of plugs.

Got it at allthingsjeep.com. It's not as heavyweight as I expected, that's why there are 2 small tiewraps in the bottom holes to keep it from vibrating.

rickm - it was about an extra $35 here to get the vanity plates this year. New Hampshire was a little short on revenue for next year's budget - about half a billion dollars. :cry:

Today I installed 2 sets of THULE Hull-A-Port Pro folding J kayak racks for the KK. I will get some pics of them up and folded down in a day or to.

Tuned the firestik II with my cobra sounds great now I need to order a power mic. Also the firestik mount wasent as sturdy as I thought so I used some blue lock tight and drilled some larger holes for bigger bolts it's on for good now :twisted:

Gave it a good cleaning.... Sure is easy to remove mud from line x with a power washer :twisted:

Blacked out my headlights today. Also, I had tint added over the factory tint a couple of weeks ago.

Less then 5 minutes for the outside

... not the mud and sand that got on the inside is a different story

They do have a Silverstar turn signal bulbs that look blue but light up amber. I'll probably do those here at some point. I don't know about blacking out the reflector on those though. We'll see what happens.

I'm 99% sure it can't be done. I just tried and FAILED!!! :lol:

From what I can tell the clean plastic lense is bonded together with the back housing. They didn't use silicone to bond them like on the headlights. The pastics are actually melted together. I baked them in the over for 10 min and couldn't get it to budge.

Goodluck to anyone ele who trys this.

I might buy an extra set from the junk yard or eBay and try harder on that set but I'm not going to break my only set.

I got a set of black lugs with my soft 8s thr only thing I don't like is that if you use an impact thell scratch and it voids there warrenty. I'm supossed to go in for a front wheel berring hopefully the service manger tells them otherewise there gonna be ordering me a new set
