Highway isn't "too" far off from stock. I think the most I usually manage is 350ish. I figured out what is killing my mileage in my commute, it's the 3 lights I hit on 1 road. You're guaranteed to hit 3, and it has a 55mph speed limit so you're always rolling atleast 65. Coming from a stand still and wanting to get back rolling again is killing it on me, sad thing is, depending on the light you have to take off decently fast if you don't want to sit at the next light :banghead:

Finally got new tires!

After 14 months of driving on those Goodyear 225/75 r16s I got tired of the traction control kicking on if I even thought about touching the gas if the road were wet and my boss not respecting me and my wife sleeping with all my firends.

Image

Now with my Cooper AT3 235/75 r16's I can finally drive around like the coolest guy in the Babylon 5 chat room (which I am)!

I'm finally able to satisfy my wife and my boss gave me a raise! Plus the traction is incredible!

Same exact size and tire I'm looking at. You got any lift and rubbing issues

No lift, very very minor rubbing at full wheel lock, I have the Rocky Road 9/16 spacers I am going to install when it warms up.

I did a lot of back and forth on what size to go with on a stock height and I think this is just right. I was going to get the Firestone Destination ATs but the Coopers were about $80 less for all 4 and had equal reviews. I am very pleased with how quiet they are on the highway with such an aggressive tread.

Now I am waiting on a refurbished factory rim to arrive so I can get a 5th tire and have a full size spare!

Can you tell us where you bought the refurbished factory rim and how much it was? I am in the same boat wanting a matching 5th rim. The best prices I've found are on WheelsAndCaps.com. http://www.wheelsandcaps.com/c-2283-factory-oem-aluminum-wheels_Jeep-Liberty-2008.aspx?gclid=CJSmkdT99bQCFQLd4AodfU0A8g

That's a better price than I got! I paid about $185 shipped from Carparts.com

^^^ Pretty cool rims. They remind me of rims that would be on a police car... and I like that kind of look.

Put a new wheel bearing on the front pass. side. My floor boards don't sound like they're going to vibrate out anymore.

I'll have to get some pics, but I installed the roof rack, then took it off because upon putting it on, it started to peel back that piss poor design of a seam right where the roof studs were mounted. I'm debating whether to try and drop my head liner and use bolts/washers/nuts. But I don't know how to drop that....so we'll see.

My Hella 500's also came in! 4 of them. So those will get mounted to the rack before it goes back up too.

Gave her a synthetic oil change. It gets easier and easier to get to that filter. Also saved 20 bucks by buying the oil at Wally World instead of at the local speed shop.
