Installed my foglamp/headlight assembly today. Also put on the headlight masks. I think it's looking good. It needs a bath and I am thinking Sunday morning will be about as good a day as any for that.

I had to wait a bit for some decent weather to coincide with my time available to do the task. The dealer quoted me $190 to install the fogs. I have to say I am pleased to have saved that money. I still have to go there to get them activated but it looks great now. I'll never understand why Jeep put those dummies in there instead of the fogs.

I took it to ANOTHER dealer who also blamed the vibration on my tires. Turns out the tires are MUCH smoother. I still have the vibration though, the one coming from the axle. I've narrowed it down to the intermediate axle shaft.
I was told, and it was made very clear that I no longer have a drive train warranty because of "those aftermarket parts" and "those big tires" I put on there. They wouldn't even check it since it touches the cv axle and that is out of whack from "those aftermarket parts". They also told me, while weasleing out of doing their job that Chrysler doesn't like that, referring to the lift. I'm very frustrated with them so I guess I'll fix the darn thing myself, at least I know it'll be done right. Bunch of grease monkeys anyway.

Someone oughta tell them that if Chrysler doesnt like it they should build them right to start with!

Agreed but I don't think they'll get it, have you seen the Kia, Fiat, Cherokee crossover thing that replaced the liberty?

Give em time, they'll all be crossovers. Next they'll try to make a wrangler with independant suspension on all four corners and tell us it's better until somebody believes it.
It is a nice crossover but they already have three, why take out the the only other suv they had besides the wrangler.

Whats crazy about the whole deal is that Jeep supposedly warranties lifts on the Wrangler, under 3" I believe, but not any of their other vehicles. Also any tire you go and buy is aftermarket, how does a dealer get away with calling them that and ripping people off by selling poor quality tires. Maybe if dealers would back the stuff they sell might be a little better. Ok off my soap box.

Getting warmer here and going to start working on some new stuff for the Liberty. Whooo

Meant to post in here and started a new topic, oops :ROTFL:

Anyway, walked out of the gym and saw some lady struggling to park a F-150 next to my Jeep. Looked over and her running boards were rubbing on my tires :furious:

Also, got a local shop to start installing a super low body kit and neon, super pumped! 8) April Fools
