Na, I'm just having a few technical problem with the front half of the suspension... should have a fix in a few weeks

I am tempted to line x the inside... I was kinda ticked off after my route 44 cherry lime aid when all or the rear and made a mess :x

Fueled up tonight MPG seems to be going down this tank was 16MPG, but didn't get it for the MPG anyway. Gas out here is slowly creeping back up was $3.13 a gal for Reg.

Diggerfreek I like the new Avatar.

I think I know whats in that box. I think I have one already. You may need to do a little grinding to make it fit. Goodluck

It's the best mod a 4wd owner can do.

Installed my Jeep slush mats.

THEN it was time to get ready for a trail ride this weekend.

First I had to cut off the hooks on my tow strap.
For those that aren't very familiar with off-roading and recovery, you do NOT want open end hooks. Most places and hardcore groups will NOT allow hooks at the end of your tow strap. It's a very big safety hazard. If you are trying to recover another rig and the hook breaks or slips lose you will have a steel object flying through the air at a very high rate of speed.
I got this 10,000lb strap for a great price I just had to cut off the hooks.

Then, thanks to JeepinJarhead03, I installed my new 20,000lb recovery hitch attachment and checked it with the strap just to make sure everything fit as it should.

No I didn't have to grind the "C" Clips. The carrier in my KK had a little Extra metal and wouldn't allow the 2 centre pieces to go in. I could have removed the centre and dressed the Carrier casting but I ground a little of the locker(0.5mm). It's been fitted to my KK for just over 15000KM and I have had no problems with it.

Mike you are playing with fire when you start modifying recovery gear. The strap you have is a tow strap for towing a vehicle with. The strap you need is a Snatch Strap. Snatch straps have no hooks fitted. If you use the tow strap to recovery a vehicle you will either damage one of the vehicles in the recovery or the strap will break, possibly injuring or killing somone.

I am an accredited 4wd instructor with a lot of years experience in 4wd recovery. Go to a 4wd shop where they know what there talking about and buy the correct gear then go and do a 4wd course and learn how to use it.
