What is particularly sad is that we aren't talking about a totally new vehicle.
First, the KK is drawing fans and former buyers of the older model KJ, which was a big success with the off-road crowd. If it was a brand new vehicle, ARB might be hesitant to see if people are actually going to be interested. In this case, we are talking about a replacement. How much of a gamble is there? Not much.
Second, unless I'm completely wrong, the KK shares some components or at least similarities with the KJ. They've got products for the KJ....get in there and update them. What is the big mystery? Again, it isn't like you even have to start from scratch.
Third, how many off-road vehicles are really available for them to be so busy? Toyota has a couple, Hummer has 2, Jeep has 3 or 4, maybe a few trucks. Then there are a few that we don't see in the states, like the Defender and Jimny. But existing products have been available for most of these vehicles for years. Its not like there is suddenly 10 new off-road vehicles on the market.
Poor treatment of this vehicle, but then even Jeep hasn't really played up its capability so can you blame the aftermarket? Jeep could be offering a rear locker, 1" lift, off-road package from the factory.
I big cookie goes to you
