Changed the cabin filters and installed a set of OEM side rails.

We need to get you in some different vehicles then lol. Don't get me wrong the KK has power, but it is in no way fast.

Oh trust me, I know its not fast lol. Put it next to almost any car and it doesnt stand a chance lol. But It does surprise me cause its a box and pretty heavy. I was expecting a lot less when I bought it. Now the challenger SRT8 on the other hand.. Omg

Nice, Bmxer524!!! You could sell your OME components afterwards to offset some of the cost. You're going to love the JBA ride.

Today my KK threw a rod  (or at least that's the preliminary diagnosis). It still idles but it sounds like the squirrels in there are on strike. :dizzy: I may need a new motor. :dead:

No jeep for a time while this gets sorted out. :ALONE:
Looks like I will be going to work on the train on Monday morning!

Only 86K.
It's always had a slight knock. I posted this thread a while ago about the noise, but my oil analysis and most responses on the forum just pointed to it being a noisy engine. No extra metals in the oil indicating wear. Something internal just gave out today.

Would that fall under the power train warranty even as a 2nd owner?

Unfortunately no, because the 2008 lifetime powertrain warranty only applied to the first owner. It was 3 year / 36,000 mile bumper to bumper for everyone else. I passed both those milestones a long time ago.

I have certified pre owned. So I have a deductible. BUT all required maintenance must be recorded. Remember when I complained about my +50$ oil change? That was because they did my inspection, and recorded, it.

I got mine at a Chevy dealership, so they didn't sell certified Jeeps. The previous owner had it for a 3 year lease and traded it on a Tahoe.

It's a good look. I like the black grille on the silver KK.
