I don't hide mine. I use photobucket for my pics, you can edit them and hide the plate though if you desired to. I've only done it on other people's vehicles since I don't know how they feel about the subject.

Added a light under the hood, I didn't realize there wasn't a lot of open space with out cutting the insulation until I tried to find a place to mount it. Found a spot on the drivers fender big enough for it. I used the GM style retractable one, I remembered seeing it one a Chevy truck my buddy had a few years back. it looks at lot better than other i saw for under the hood. Got from eBay for around 35 bucks.

It has a on/off switch on it, but i still want to wire a hood pin switch if I can find one I like.

how much light does this actually give off if you needed to do a roadside repair? I was thinking about doing something similar except actually mounting it on the bottom of the hood

looks cool. I just install a LED strip under the hood with hood pin...to control on/off...

I checked out the length of the cord the other day. It almost wrapped around the back to the passenger side from the drivers side. It barely reached the back from around the passenger side. I almost went with led but couldn't find one with a retractable cord.

May be you can replace the bulb with LED?

That was always a thought of mine as well I had just seen where others have done so it was a there must be a reason so I better ask about quick apps instead of Trial n error on apps, getting enough of that on my KK, lol

Yes it does for now I installed as per the instructions and when I did the spare would not return to its normal position so I had to take a lower set of bolt positions, I can still get to the upper but will need to move the brackets toward the rear about 3/4 of a inch. My plan is to have someone weld a 2" receiver somewhere to the left of the hitch receiver drivers side and install some sort of spare tire holder that I've seen somewhere more research needed then I'll be able to raise it almost 2" to the original bolt locations as per the instructions. Seems the instructions are off on this model year by about 3/4 of a inch or more. Still in all usable at this point for the intended purpose but not finished by a long shot needs to be raised about 2".

If you do it, keep us posted through the stages and where you get your parts from!
I was also interested in the 4.56's, so I wanna know how much the average cost is.

I washed the 4lbs of pollen off my KK yesterday. I have a feeling it won't take too long to accumulate again.

I also got my clevis spacers in the mail the other day. Gotta put the funds together and order the isos and top plates. Then it's install time.

I finally had some time to get Atthehelm's front recovery system on there. I love it. This is only my second time trying to flex it, but this seems to be about it's limit. The back tire is off the ground, and the other back tire had a lot of weight on it.

Well as of today, I start to piece together my lift. Just finished ordering from jba's site, a pair of HD 2.5" bilstein rear shocks and the bushings kit. :)

Also to add, if anyone is wanting to buy their parts for the lift now, I suggest to order the shocks now. Marlin just marked those ones listed above down to $87.99 each regular $145.99!

nFodzy, I think he just fixed the price. The shocks normally go for around $80, after the new site launched they doubled in price...

Did he just fix the price for the OME 1.5" kit or is there a price drop? $932.00 marked down to $835.70.

What are you going for with the lift (both heigh-wise and part-wise)?
