Thanks lfhoward. The tires do a nice job of filling the wheel wells. So far no rubbing lock to lock. I haven't tried it articulated. I don't do much off-roading, as this is my work truck. Just some un-maintained (Class VI) roads. The OME and Ironman Lifts seem kind of pricey. I was considering a hockey puck lift by Daystar.

I have the 245/75/16 duratracs with no lift. You will rub in the rear when articulating. In the front you will only rub if you disconnect the sway bars. But ill be lifting mine this weekend with the 3.5 Rock Krawler X Factor i got on here with bilstein shocks for the rear

That paint job looks awesome, and the 245/75/16's are definitely beefier. You may have some rub while turning or articulating the suspension with that tire size if you are unlifted. If that happens, consider OME or Ironman lifts from Jeepin By Al. You can get 2.5 inches of lift and a much improved ride for about $800 if I remember correctly. New springs are like night and day compared to the stock ones.

Save your money and buy a real lift when you have saved enough. If you only want it for looks sitting in your yard, then go for the Daystar, but if you plan on driving it
Spacer lifts are cheap for a reason

No worries, I still have it :jester: The front crank seal was leaking oil and I'm still under warranty(extended atleast lol). Figured why bother doing it myself when the dealer can do it for free.

Up next is going to my buddy's shop in the next few weeks to take care if the rear axle that's leaking.
and that jba lift you have sitting around lol

I'm still getting to that. That'll cost me another case of beer. LKW, I got it back Saturday, just in time for work. No time to test drive a JKU. If I ever really get the urge, I'll ask to drive my friend's '14. I'll probably have my own come 2016/7. It all depends on how the new ones sit with me. If they drop the body on frame and sfa I'll be getting a 2016. If not, I might wait a bit. I'm cool with aluminum bodies etc, just keep the vitals. Removable doors and top, solid axles, and a windshield that can fold down(will I ever do that? Probably not, but I like having the ability to incase I decide I want to lol).

I would be down for an SFA one but I doubt that will happen since they went to the IFS sadly

I got some moving done and have no net at the moment. Bad pic but for my light bar on and my spare back on top.

Since it's been raining since Friday my local trail was pleasantly damp. I also managed to test my rear flex, didn't quite get down to the bumpstops due to a minor fear of tipping over haha.

Nice! Take it more straight on next time and you won't get the tippy feeling. If you put the nose down the hill at say a 45* angle you'll flex the rear and stay pretty planted without the fear of rolling.

Not what I did but what someone else did last night, apparently.

Looks like I'll be taking it to the shop for an estimate after work.

Someone got me the other day, too.
Mine is getting fixed in a few days.
I noticed the other day that them hitting me also caused my side mirror on the driver's side to be slightly unstable. Tiny piece of plastic is broken which I will try to fix with some glue.
This is why I hate street parking in my neighborhood.

This stuff worked well on my side view mirror. Same issue of parking on the street and someone clipped and shattered the plastic housing. The glue has held up great now for more than 2 years.

Unfortunately this isn't collision related. Someone keyed it and I have a feeling I know who. Now it's just a matter of proof.

You guys don't fold your mirrors in? My family shuffles cars because we live on a main road. People can't drive either. I back into my driveway, so I pull over in front of my house and wait til traffic allows. I almost always have someone that almost rear ends me as I have 2 wheels up on the curb.

When I had my KK the driver side mirror would shake at Highway speed. Never looked into it but I assume it was hit at some point.

Sucks someone keyed your Jeep. I've had my old Toyota egged and bologna I think it was meant for someone else.
