Reaching back? I have plenty of room behind my front overhead lights. Hence it's ideal location to me haha. I thought about one the A-pillar instead too though...

my B. forgot about how far forward the lights were.

I wouldn't want to hack up my head liner for a few switch boxes. im more of a stealth interior person. the overhead console above is far from stealth, but the switches would be installed cleanly.

plus it has an area for my cb. it would definitely clean up the interior for me.

Got to watch what you do with the "A" pillars. There are side curtain airbags in there....
If the air bags go off the trim pops off.

You mean a switch pod to the face doesn't sound like a good time to you? lol

What he said, I've taken them off and all I saw is some wiring.

Those of you with fire extinguishers, where did you mount them?

I don't but most put them on the drivers side door. maybe if you remove the foot well (carpet) insert could mount a 1.5 lb extinguisher there. or under the drivers side seat.

I tucked mine under the driver's seat. Doesn't rattle and it doesn't fly forward on hard brakes either. I completely forgot I had it under there haha.

Installed the Mopar Hitch. Got it for MSRP without paying any freight on it (which is a HUGE deal up here in AK!)

Got from Lowe's for $20. Perfect fit. The rats nest of cable is the CB...

Yeah, it's easier if you open the door to reach under the seat, but I can pull it out while sitting. I slid it under the seat from the front. It doesn't rattle or anything either.

Beats me haha. Box said it'll put out a fire.

Well just be careful because if it's a fire due to fuel it can actually spread the fire instead of putting it out. And I'm not sure about electrical fires. But hopefully none of us ever need to use it.
