So the more I see pics of the KK the more I like it. I'll just have to see if they make a CRD. Also I hope they are stout enough for a 5" lift and 33" tires. |

So now that the wife totaled the KJ I am seriously considering a KK. I just wish the came with a 6 speed diesel. I guess I will just have to wait and see. |

I too want one.. But my current car is neither ruined or totalled so until it explodes I won't be taking on another car payment. For now, I'm sitting on the sidelines and cheering the rest of you on. |

Even the KJ CRD wasn't available with a manual transmission here was it? Of course, if it had been, they wouldn't have had so many issues with buster torque converters on the CRDs... |

Tell your dealer to wait until the 2010 (or, maybe, late 2009) models come out and see what he has to say. The KKs will have CRDs (common rail diesels) from Cummins. |

Look for a 2.8 I4 in the Liberty, and the 4.2 V6 in the Grand Cherokee and Wrangler. |

I was going by what delaer said because the CRD was not popular in US, like jeep had hoped, they may show up in 2010, if so, good for those that want one, is of not my concern because I will still have my gas gas KK! |

the CRD was IMMENSELY popular in the US. they couldn't keep them on the lots, and most were spoken for before they hit the dealership. what killed the CRD was emissions standards. It'll be back... |

Your dealer is full of horse biscuits. They sold like crazy. They were discontinued because the VM Motori engine which was being used could not meet the 2007 emissions standards in the US. |

You know Indian, "Opinions are like @$#%s, Everyone has one", don't rip my delaer, I was not sold!! the dealer is a personal friend, Do you know me?? NO you don't, so don't pass judgement, Afterall I even read in articles that the liberty was not popular here because they were hard to work on in the states. So piss off, this email wasn't a personal attack in the first place or even directed toward you, but there is always that one $& that does have to make it personal ! Moron! |

The dealer I've been talking with for a while called me today and wants me to come in tomorrow to see one and talk some numbers. While I'm definately not ready to buy one yet, I'm going to see what is up and see if they're something I'll be able to swing in the near future. I'm excited about another test drive, though. That's for sure! |

Wow, now that's a personal attack. Indian is right, the the CRD's sold really well around my area and they were killed because of the new diesel emissions. Lighten up a little KK |

Careful there, friend. You, too, might invoke the wrath of "KK". |
