There is a button on the transmission, but Electronic Trailer Sway Control System is something different. It reduces trailer sway and improves handling in adverse towing conditions caused by crosswinds and traffic. Software monitors the vehicle’s movement relative to the driver’s intended path, then applies brake pressure to slow the vehicle and then increases the pressure on one front wheel to counteract sway induced by the trailer |

hey, did you get a full sized spare? |

The Factory Installed Towing Group includes the following: Trailer Sway Control Power Steering Cooler Heavy Duty Engine Cooling Class III Receiver Hitch 7-Pin Wiring Harness 7-to-4-Pin Wiring Adaptor If you didn't select this option at the Factory you won't get the PS cooler, HD cooling or the software program for the e-TSC. The Hitch and a 4 pin harness are all that the dealer would install after delivery. It's a totally different story if you did in fact order this option and not recieve it |

Ok, since I have the Tow Package, here's what my window sticker says: Trailer Tow Class III Group $495 Trailer Sway Control Heavy Duty Engine Cooling Full Size Spare Tire Matching Spare Wheel Class III Receiver Hitch 7-Pin Wiring Harness 7-to-4 Pin Wiring Adapter That is a good question. If you didn't get the factory tow package, did you get a full size spare with matching rim? |

So what is the "HD cooling"? I'll probably add a power steering and tranny cooler just as added insurance. Maybe I can talk the dealer into reprogramming my ECU. As for the full size spare.... I'm pretty sure all I have is a steel rim under there, not a matching spare. |

HD cooling in the old versions included a mechanically driven fan as well as the electical fan. Works very, very well! you can see, not clearly, the mechanical fan in the yellowish plastic. Directly in front of that is the standard e-fan |

The HD cooling is a better electric fan. Radiator is the same. I dont what years they used the elec/ mnual fan combo for HD cooling but my 06 and your 08's too, will only have an electric fan and if you get the HD cooling you get a better electric fan. you can buy it at the dealer parts counter for about 180.00. |
